Synthetika

Synthetika takes place in the late 21st century where the powerful have almost total control and influence of daily life. One of the inhabitants, Kris is a total shut-in not far off from the 'Hikikomori' phenomenon of the late 20th century to early 21st. But his lifestyle is the norm as far as he's aware and actually he's one of the more luckier members of society as there are many others out there in far worse situations. Maybe Kris is only an inch away from joining them if he's not careful. He must pay his overdue rent first...

This is a Point & Click/RPG hybrid game. In the apartment you can click on various objects to get dialogue and buy upgrades from the laptop. In battle mode, you can either fight the enemy or choose to block which can be an effective offense against certain enemies. If you're low on health, consider sleep.
