Teknopunk: The First Year

Teknopunk: The First Year is a cozy, narrative-driven game where you play as Patch, a bio-engineered companion created by Elias, a reclusive old engineer living behind a roaring waterfall. In the wilderness far from the cruel outside world, you’ll help Elias with daily tasks such as  foraging and fishing in the misty pools beneath the waterfall while basking in the dome of Elias' world.

Controls:

Z, space or enter to interact. Arrow keys to move. Dialogue can be skipped except the important ones. Supports gamepad controllers too.

Version Updates:

v1.0.5 Fixes the lack of state persistence in pick up items and reduces the pause in the pick up window.

v1.0.4 adds icon for unskippable dialogue.

v1.0.3 cleans up unused files and reduced the overall file size. 

v1.0.2 adds fullscreen toggle by pushing F key and a way to quit the game after the ending cutscene via Esc key. v1.0.2 also speeds up the text dialogue a little and adds more cooldown timer after picking up items.

v1.0.0 is the version submitted to GDTV Jam.
